Acclaimed writer Sharon Dodua Otoo, who describes herself as a “Black British mother, activist, author and editor”, will visit Howard University during her US reading tour. She is the 2016 winner of the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize--one of the most prestigious awards for German language literature. Ms. Otoo will read and discuss her prize- winning story, “Mr. Groettrup Sits Down” (Herr Groettrup setzt sich hin).
