HU Spanish Study Abroad to Salamanca, Spain

The Howard University Spanish Program is offering a study abroad opportunity to Spain for Summer 2019.  Spend three weeks in six amazing cities in Spain!  Dr. McBurney, in partnership with T&E, is pleased to offer this study/travel opportunity to HU students who wish to further develop their communication skills in Spanish while immersed in the life and culture of Spain. This program will explore the African influence on Spain, past and present!

There will be an information session for the program on Friday, February 22 at 4 pm in Locke Hall 253.

 

Program Details:

• 24 hour / 7 day on-site services of a T&E Coordinator
• Airport transfers and ground transportation
• 2 WEEK Language Immersion Program in SALAMANCA (choice of accommodation, three meals a day and laundry included)
• Two (2) nights in SEVILLA (including the Cathedral and La Maestranza)
• Two (2) nights in GRANADA (including the Alhambra and Albaicín)
• One (1) night in CÓRDOBA – Meszquita
• One (1) night in TOLEDO -- Cathedral, synagogue, Santo Tome, Greco House
• One (1) night in MADRID (including famous Prado Museum, Flamenco dinner and show)
• Reception (Salamanca) and Farewell dinner (Madrid)
• Daily Socio-cultural programming
• Tuition and Official transcripts from Accredited Language and Culture Institute : Colegio Unamuno
• Accommodation in tourist class hotels
