The Department of WLC Invites Applications for Two Tenure-Track Assistant Professors

The Department of World Languages and Cultures in the College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor with research interests in the area of Latin American Studies. A focus on race, ethnicity, African Diaspora studies, gender studies, minority languages, and urban literature in

Latin-America, and Afro-Latinx studies is desirable. Candidates should be able to teach different levels of Spanish. We seek outstanding applicants with a demonstrated track record of excellence in research and teaching. Successful candidates are expected to develop vigorous, extramurally funded research programs in their areas of expertise, actively participate in the Department's teaching and curriculum development at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
