Want to Learn Capoeira?
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines acrobatic movements, dance, music and singing. It was created and developed by enslaved African who were brought to Brazil during the transatlantic slave trade.
Participants in the Howard Capoeira Club will be taught different movements, learn how to play instruments used in this art form and learn the songs used when playing.
