The Department of World Languages & Cultures has had the pleasure of hosting writers and intellectuals from across the African Diaspora at Howard University to discuss their work.  Faculty, students, and staff at Howard regularly have the opportunity to attend events where they can listen to contemporary writers share their work and can engage in discussions with them.
