ESOL Courses
The Department of World Languages and Cultures offers a sequence of Academic ESOL courses designed to support multilingual students in developing advanced English skills for academic study at Howard University. These courses focus on academic reading, writing, speaking, listening, and research communication across disciplines. The ESOL sequence is structured to provide progressive development from foundational academic English skills to advanced research-based writing and communication.
